Trophies, medals and awards for sporting events

Choose the right awards to celebrate achievements at tournaments, school events and community competitions. This overview helps organisers pick designs, materials and customisation options that suit budgets and event themes.

Types and materials

Trophies come in metal, resin and glass variations, each offering different aesthetics and durability. Medals and ribbons provide simpler, cost-effective recognition for participants, while plaques and certificates add a formal touch for special honours.

Ordering and presentation tips

• Format: match award size and style to the prestige of the category being recognised.
• Personalisation: engraving names and event details creates lasting mementos.
• Quantity and timing: plan orders with lead times to ensure delivery before events.
• Cost-saving: clearance or stock items can be customised quickly for smaller budgets.

Consider presentation standards such as display bases and packaging to enhance the moment of recognition. Clear communication about engraving and delivery deadlines avoids last-minute issues. Thoughtful awards encourage participation and celebrate sporting accomplishments meaningfully.
